Description: Crews will use the closure to install H-Beams near the E. Roanoke St. and Harvard Ave. intersection and configure temporary traffic signals. This work is part of the SR 520 Portage Bay Bridge and Roanoke Lid Project.
Traffic: East Roanoke Street between Boylston Ave. E. and Harvard Ave. E. will close for construction beginning at 11 p.m. on Friday, March 13, until 5 a.m. Monday, March 16. This closure also includes the westbound SR 520 off-ramp to E. Roanoke St. A uniformed police officer will be on-site to guide traffic and pedestrians around the work. Travelers should plan for potential delays and consider alternate routes if able. Please note: the westbound SR 520 off-ramp to northbound I-5, which shares the same ramp exit as the E. Roanoke St. ramp, will remain open.
