Description: Crews will use this closure to repair an expansion joint and refresh striping. This work is part of the SR 520 Portage Bay Bridge and Roanoke Lid Project. This work is weather dependent.
Traffic: Westbound SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and I-5 will close for construction beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, until 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1. All westbound traffic crossing Lake Washington must exit at Montlake Boulevard or Lake Washington Boulevard during these hours. Those wanting to access I-5 from the eastside must use alternate routes. This work is weather dependent. The SR 520 Trail will remain open. Eastbound SR 520 is not affected by this work.
